Chandara

Villa Chandara is more than an evening of Khmer fine dining in an exclusive setting. It is also an afternoon of exploring the Cambodian countryside and its traditions through activities specially conceived with the local community. Chandara is an attractive villa and landscaped garden located on the edge of Kok Tnout village approximately an hour’s adventure to the northwest of Siem Reap. This half day countryside experience takes guests by road, via a pagoda, then by boat across an ancient reservoir and then on foot through the village and to the villa. The experience provides a perfect introduction to the best of rural Cambodia away from the influence of tourism. The tour culminates at the villa with cocktails and fine Khmer celebratory dining in elegant surroundings overlooking the rice paddies. Availability can be limited as we restrict the number of guests on any evening for an exclusive atmosphere in this privately managed villa.
