Phum Kreus Khmer, that is literally translated as Cambodian House, is a stilt or pile house. The structure consists of evenly spaced wooden piles that extend from the ground to the eaves of the roof ridge. Phum Kreus Khmer complements the Royal Khmer Cuisine that was meticulously prepared by the chefs at the Royal Palace in the 1960s. The recipes were unfortunately lost during the turbulent years in Cambodia. Guests can now partake in this exquisite cuisine at our Phum kreus Khmer (Cambodian House). Guests may also choose to learn the art of preparing fine Khmer cuisine dishes from our chefs.
